If a student athlete wants to play soccer (or any sport) in college they MUST sign up with the NCAA Clearinghouse. It is recommended student-athletes do this upon completion of their junior year.

College coaches will tell you...in order to be successful as a college athlete, there has to be a balanced fit in both the "college life" and the "athletic life" for the student athlete. Success is elusive when selection is based merely on the soocer program. Athletes must consider academic programs, enrollment, geographic location, tuition costs, etc. in order to select a school that fits them individually. When this has balance with a fit in the soccer program, the odds of success are greatest for the student athlete, as well as for the school.
